Antiseptic. Recommended for: bee stings, burns, diarrhea, nosebleed, poison ivy, varicose veins, teeth, skin wounds. Use in enemas and douches.

WILD YAM

Alkaloids, dioscin, diosgenin, phytosterols, starch, steroidal saponins, tannins.
Uses: 
Anti-inflammatory. Indicated for: gallbladder, hypoglycemia, kidney stones, female disorders (PMS, menopause), muscle spasms, promoting perspiration. Is said to have effects similar to progesterone hormone.

WILLOW

WINTERGREEN

WITCH HAZEL

Astringent. Indicated for: itching, hemorrhoids, phlebitis, skin care.

WORMWOOD

Uses: 
Sedative. (Caution: can be addictive.) Indicated for: vascular disorders, migraine, intestinal parasites, fever, expelling worms, increasing stomach acidity. Do not use while pregnant - can produce spontaneous abortion.
